So, I'm a single mum with 2 kids. I clean for a living and I went to one of my customers houses to clean this week which Is just round the corner from where I live. They got married at the weekend so no one was there. Or so I thought 😅 opened the door and there is a 6ft3 tall dark handsome man staring at me (what i imagine my husband to look like) . Was like who are you! After talking for some time, about life and hobbies ect he tells me his wife left him 2 days ago and that's why he is staying at this house.
Do I try to reach out to him or do I just leave it as if he want to find me he will?
I know he knows my name now because he asked the guys who i clean for what my name was. Im really tempted to add him on starva as that's what he wanted my name for and I've found him on there. Obv I know he is very early doors of a break up and prob needs time blah blah. And I also think he prob doesn't want a single mum with 2 kids but we got on really well and had a laugh in the short time i was there.
Anyway do I just leave nature to take its course and trust he will find me if he wants to as I don't want to be creepy and just add him

If you don't mind being a rebound then go for it.

2 days! At least let the sheets cool

ClaredeBear · 19/06/2025 21:02

Goodness. If you don’t mind a whole lot of trouble with nothing to show for it! Reach out at your peril.

goodnightssleepbenice · 19/06/2025 21:07

If you want a bit of a fling yep go for it , don’t expect much more thou from Mr Rebound

pikkumyy77 · 19/06/2025 21:09

This reads like a penthouse forum letter “dear editors, I never thought it would happen to me…”

JJxxxxx · 19/06/2025 21:12

😳 I think two days is a bit soon…
Maybe give it some time or like others have said you will literally just be his distraction from reality, and will highly likely end up getting hurt.

Lauraa7 · 19/06/2025 21:13

Assuming you’re not looking for a long term relationship here? Two days!

Hatty65 · 19/06/2025 21:21

No, you don't.

You will absolutely look like a desperate cliche. And he's definitely not in the 'looking for a serious relationship' category.

2 days, OP!

TALLMAM2 · 19/06/2025 21:22

Yep.... think I'll leave it for a bit. thanks everyone 😂
