Does anyone else feel like people treat you as a pen friend with little or no intentions of ever seeing you in person?
Some friends seem happy to be in constant communication with me but they never want to meet up.
Some will tell me all about their plans but I am never invited.
They’ll say things like ‘It would be nice to go away with you’ while telling me about their holidays with their other friends but they have no intention of planning anything with me. I heard this one tonight.
I have brought it up before but I get ‘You never tell me when you’re free.’ When I have asked they’re always busy.
It’s really getting me down and I feel like withdrawing from them.
