Is this what happens when your own children are teenagers, do you become the overspill for everyone else? I like being needed and having something to do, it also is good for keeping up friendships and family connections. I seem to be the go to person for other people s loose ends. I’ll help when I can but I have a life of my own, I’m 54 and wouldn’t want to end up as the go to for everyone else’s chores.

I dropped a day at work when our granddaughter was born, so did my husband. We both look after her one day a week and absolutely love it. I can’t imagine going to pick up someone else’s viagra. Don’t let people put on to you, have a voice so say no sometimes.
