Thinking about leaving

I am thinking about ending my marriage because my husband keeps starting arguments out of nowhere

Ending a marriage is huge. But sometimes that is the only route to go if communication and respect is gone. Sounds like he has worn you out.

You dont own him a future if he treats you with contempt, dragging you into arguments. Are there any other changes to his behavior? Is this recent or long standing behavior?

If you were to go away for a little bit, if you can, would you miss him? Or have you started, in your mind, moving your things into a separate life? Wondering what life would be like without him?

Maybe he starts the arguments to try get you to end the marriage so that he won't be 'the bad guy'.

Do what you want op. It's your life. I wouldn't stay with anyone who made my life feel like a chore, personally.

What happens if you don't argue back and just give him a bland "yeah, um" and walk off or look away.
