Please someone settle this once and for all ?!
Hi all, ok so not a serious post but could save me alot of embarrassment that I am feeling right now!
So I was once told that on Instagram if you view someone's story they will be able to see you viewed it. Fair enough.
However when it comes to Facebook they will not see your name come up as viewing thier story unless you are friends ( this is of course of thier story is set to public settings)
So I have been having a little nose at my current partners ex and I have viewed a couple of her stories over the last couple of weeks.
I know , I know a bit embarrassing but hey ho I just wanted a nose when bored really
Her stories were set to public, so that means anyone can see them regardless of whether your friends or not.
I understood that she will not be able to see that I viewed it , I will come under "other" viewers .
However a colleague of mine at work has told me something different today. She insists that they can see that it is in fact me ! And will give my name and a photo of my profile picture!!! 😳 I am now feeling mortified!!
I have had a Google and it says different things!
Does anyone have the actual answer to this please? Can they see it's me viewing or not?
