Talk to me about (lesbian) dating websites. Totally clueless!

New to dating….

Set up an online profile on a paid website as thought that would allow me to be more selective/calmer approach. There are about 3 people within a reasonable distance!!! I think this website (eHarmony) was a mistake.

But it’s a start, first scary hurdle - putting details out there! I don’t think my blurb is appealing after reading others…. Is everyone really spending their free time kayaking and dancing?!

And how on earth do you know who to like? Can’t really tell much about a person. The only thing I have worked out is that people who describe their personalities are a bit off putting! Which isn’t helpful of me I know.

Do you just want to stick with the one site? I’d try multiple at first and see what vibe you get from each.

I thought one would be enough to get started but maybe a number of sites is better.
