Places I've Cried in Public...

By Holly Bourne. It's a YA book about a girl who gets drawn into an abusive relationship. I just finished reading it and I don't think I've ever read a novel that so exactly describes the inner experience of emotional abuse. I cried my heart out and immediately bought several copies to give away to the women in my life. I highly recommend this book to any woman who has been in a relationship where they feel confused or don't know where they stand. I also think it would be a brilliant book to share with teen girls to help them understand what a red flag looks like and what to do when they see one waving.

Anyone else read this book? Everything I've read by Holly Bourne has been brilliant, but this was a particularly powerful read that I think a lot of women who post on the relationships board would find interesting and helpful.
