Hi,

I need some advise as I have had a major crap day.

My husband is a liar and lies all the time even about the smallest of things been going on for years. Especially about money.

He was due to get paid last Wednesday and he said he hasn't been paid as the accountant messed up and they are trying to get it sorted fast forward a week and still nothing. His bank statement came in the post when we never get statements in the post and lo and behold he got paid last Wednesday and he gambled £2500!!!

Our rent hasn't even been paid. I got a bonus this month so I cleared all outstanding bills except rent which he was going to pay. He has well and truly f us.

I've called him out and basically said I am done I am not putting up with this anymore and he's staying at his mums for good. He doesn't seem that bothered if I am honest.

Now I am stressing. I earn ok but definitely need help from UC which I have sorted and Informdef my letting agent.

I am struggling to come to terms of it I love him and do want to be with him even if it makes me a mug but I cannot right now.

How do I get through this I have two small kids!!!

Unfortunately op love isn't like a switch we can't just switch it off. Things will be difficult and you will grief for the loss of him and your relationship and the future that will never be but things will get better and your life will be much more stable and happier and more importantly stable for your kids. He's shown you and your children no respect and no care if you loose your home. Is that someone you really want to be with?

Write a list of all your income and outgoings and see if there's anything you can cancel to save money. Pack lunches to save money. UC takes weeks to go through the system so that's good you have the ball rolling with that.
