I think my libido is back - almost 2 years of no sex!

I had a baby, who is 20 months old, and for the last couple of months my OH has been very unwell and needed surgery. This has led to a sexless relationship, but we are solid. After having our baby I had ZERO interest in sex - absolutely none! OH respected that (asked of course, but didn’t pressure).

Over the past week or so I’ve started actually feeling … horny!

But we’ve not had any sex at all for almost 2 years - had a terrible pregnancy so I would barely call it that. But I am so so scared and nervous to do it again. I don’t even know if it will feel the same post baby. I don’t even know how to make time either as we are either working or with the kids - never alone. Plus the last pregnancy was unplanned so nervous about contraception failure.

Any tips for a girl that’s freaking out a little …

It sounds like you need to spend some time reconnecting with your husband. Doing things together that build intimacy and rekindle romance.

I agree. We haven’t done anything together and alone in a very long time. We often talk about how we miss the days when we could have regular date nights. It feels like we won’t get back to doing that in awhile.

I'm not just talking about date nights. Cuddling on the sofa, holding hands, hugs, kissing, having fun together, all build intimacy.

@HelloVeraPlant when the kids are asleep start with cuddles and kisses them work up to some mutual masturbation. Don't put pressure on yourselves to get sex going again.
If you had any stitches the scar tissues might be a little sore at first so just go gently, but I am sure it will all come back to you both.
