I'm sorry OP but what exactly is the point of your thread?
Everybody gets grumpy sometimes.

And what is the relevance of his age?
So many recent threads where age is offered up as a talking point.

Toootss · 02/05/2025 11:04

Does he dislike N Farage?

MrsSkylerWhite · 02/05/2025 11:07

Is it because of the election results?

I’m pretty pissed off about them, too. I’m 60. HTH.

MoominMai · 02/05/2025 11:34

I don’t think in this case the ‘just that really’ prefix works! Care to elaborate lol

Georgeismydog · 02/05/2025 11:41

Sorry just a rant. Just adding his age as he is grumpy old man this morning

Is it just this morning or every morning?

TomatoSandwiches · 02/05/2025 11:44

56 isn't old though.

56 isn't old though.

That's just what I was going to say.

OP has now insulted and enraged a substantial percentage of MN users!

coldscottishmum · 02/05/2025 11:49

I’m feeling very similar to your DH this morning - I’m full of pregnancy hormonal rage and a battle with my washing machine though and 20 years his junior. Maybe he’s feeling my rage too? 🤣

EasterBunnyFeelingFunny · 02/05/2025 11:53

My DH is 45, not that it's relevant, and I'm the grumpy one this morning. Sick of the same 4 walls...sick of the same 4 conversation topics...sick of everything.

God it's all so rage inducing.

Georgeismydog · 02/05/2025 12:17

Sorry no offence meant to anyone. Im just living with a grump

Have you got lots of nice thibgs plannedcto do this bank holiday weekend OP. Maybr taking him out for brunch on saturday would cheer him up. When was the last time you did that?

EasterBunnyFeelingFunny · 02/05/2025 12:29

@Georgeismydog I completely understand; it wears you down.

I'm the grumpy one this morning but DH is the very definition of a grumpy old man (45 isn't too young for that), and has been for a few years now.

It never used to bother me but it does now.

He has many redeeming qualities, thank god.
