Vasectomy pain - experiences please

My partner had a vasectomy a month ago and it has left him with pain on one side in his testicle. It is bad enough that he is very down about it and worried he has this for life. Has anyone's partner been in this position and has it come right? Hoping for some positive stories...

My DH and my brother both had vasectomies around a similar time and they both had this. It does eventually wear off. Dh is 13 years down the line now and hasn't had any pain since those first couple of months.

A friend had pain after his, but it went after a few months. He's in full working order these days.

Thanks everyone. Was it bad enough at the time that they were quite worried? It's hard for both of us to not be panicking at this point that he has made a huge mistake.

I think my friend said it took a few months to get back to normal. So there's no need to panic yet, but if he's worried, he should ask the medical team about what's expected.
