Hey has anyone got any knowledge on reserves on the navy please. I want to know the age limit and how long they can keep you on a deployment. Just curious as I think my colleague might be getting scammed. Thank you in advance

Just Google it. I know the Navy have a much smaller workforce than they used to.
Just tell them that no matter whether someone's in the Navy reserves or not, if they're asking for money don't give it. Unless you can afford to lose it.

Up to 46 for new recruits, up to 56 for those with ex regular service who don’t need to re-do training last time I checked. I worked in Army reservist recruiting although it was around 6 years ago now.

Deployment typically 6 months although I actually don’t think I can recall many naval reservists being deployed during the time I was in (12 years) . Literally the odd one, maybe two on a ship every so often.
