Has anyone split with their partner during pregnancy? (Or been dumped by their partner when they’re pregnant?) I just wondered how you navigated coparenting together?

Hi OP, sorry to hear you are in this situation. The main thing should be to focus on yourself right now everything else can wait to be honest and your head will be a mess with hormones thrown in to boot.

My stbxh left me for another woman whilst pregnant. We co-parent which was difficult at first but now amicable and working well now. He stayed in our home for the first 2 weeks of paternity leave as I'd had a c section and then came to the house regularly but not for long periods to do bath or a feed for example after that. We've built up to the point of full days with baby (6 months) but no overnights yet. He did want to be involved which helps.

I wouldn’t really co parent at this stage just focus on the baby and meet ups with the two of you. As baby will need you right now
