Want to do/buy something special for bf's 50th birthday... Stuck for ideas..

Just that really.
We've been together 2 years, don't live together and only get to meet every few weeks (due to work commitments and kids etc).
Bf always buys such thoughtful presents for me, really useful things that he knows I need.
Really struggling with ideas of what do do or buy him for his 50th. He pretty much has everything!
I'm on a budget so unfortunately lots of things are out of the question.
Help me with some ideas please!

Weather station
Dash cam
Bottle of good scotch or brandy
Nice gloves
Cashmere socks

Is he adventurous? Why not pick an activity that he'll remember, book him a skydive or an F1 track day or tickets to see his favourite band?

This - and I'd make it an activity or holiday together. If it were me and you bought socks, it would be game over.

I think a lot of you have missed the fact that she is on a budget and she won't be affording adventure holidays.

It's very difficult to suggest presence without knowing much about him. What does he like? Does he have any hobbies?

What are his interests?
I am turning 50 soon.
I want some Lego and a few secondhand books I have seen online (cheap ones that are about 3 quid).
I don't want an "experience" or anything similar.
It's hard to recommend something when we have no clue what he is into.

What is your rough budget? Escape rooms can be a great experience without having to spend a fortune. Or a fancy picnic for the two of you somewhere nice, with champagne and strawberries?

For me (50, male) I would like a weekend away (not needing to be loads, you can do a day out in a foreign city with Ryanair for 40each return (even leave early and come back same day), or a hotel for a night away.

Is he into sports? You can get football stadium tours that don't cost the earth.

Something related to the year he was born?

If he's into cars, rent a classic car for a day and pack a picnic. Plan a route that involves stopping at the type of places he likes for morning and afternoon tea or a walk.

Tell us about him, otherwise you’ll just get generic man-gift ideas.

What are his hobbies and interests? What does he spend his free time doing? Does he read or listen to music? If he was given a chunk of cash to spend on himself, what do you think he would buy? Are there things you know he likes, but would never buy for himself?

Buy some really sexy underwear and model it next time you meet up

My DH is the man who has everything. He likes a nice single malt or a bottle of good red wine. He also likes a spa voucher so he can get a massage or a voucher for a golf lesson.

Nice watch or wallet or casual briefcase/filofax type thing. Or else an experience like driving a Ferrari or helicopter
