So, my bf's mum lives abroad and we don't meet very often but she has warmly welcomed me into her son's life.. She's also been very kind to my DC (from a previous marriage). She always sends me thoughtful little messages, such as one thanking me for giving her son such a happy Christmas (when she was unable to come over to be with him).
I'd really like to send her a message tomorrow for Mother's Day.. Just something along the lines of thank you for raising the man who fills such a special place in my life and who makes me so happy... Without sounding cheesy lol. I'm not great with words, so any help and ideas would be appreciated! Thanks x

Chat GPT 😉

seriously though, just say something like ‘morning! I wanted to drop you a quick message to say happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for all of your support with my children and welcoming us in to your family! Hope you have a lovely day’. You don’t need to say all the stuff about your DP (it would be cheesy), but if you feel that you want to make that point then do - sounds like she sends you cutesy things already, so the cheesy energy wouldn’t be unmatched.
