Uniformed services and affairs

Are all uniformed services terrible for affairs?

I’ve just left one uniformed service where affairs were rife and joined another. I’ve only just started and am still in training but it doesn’t seem to be so bad. I’m just wondering if I’m being naive.

I have some experience through work, and like you I found it varied. I think it’s better than it was twenty years ago, when it was just seen as the norm.
