This weekend my GF had asked me if I was free on Saturday to go to the London with her and some of her friends that are visiting. I told her that I was helping my parents on Saturday and couldn't.
Yesterday they rescheduled for next week. I was excited and called her, but she was very off and angry from the get go, saying her friends have specific plans and why I didn't tell her I could've been off , even mentioning a day that I spent alone from her because it was my sister's birthday (we went to a football match together alone).
My gf later apologized for her outburst, but didn't ask or resolve the weekend, just left it that she's going without me. I understand giving space, but something just felt off about it all, I'm never rude or mean to her, am I over reacting or just too soft? She is also from China and perhaps wanted less of a interpreter role that day?
