AIBU to expect ex to pick up DC early?

I’m pregnant and about to drop in the next few weeks and have a 3 year old DC with SEN. He’s high functioning autistic with lots of energy, up early etc. Me and ex have split up during the pregnancy, ex decided to leave us because he wasn’t happy anymore. I’m devastated but also angry and disgusted at him. I’m doing all the parenting. I’m trying to be civil because he’s seeing DC every Saturday. But he never specifies a time, I wait around and don’t dare call him, it would start a fight. He knows DC is up v.early (5am) and ideally would be picked up in the morning. But he prefers to lay in and take his time getting here, turning up in afternoons. From where he’s staying he’s only 30 min drive away. Mother in law thinks I’m BU by expecting ex to be here early, he works hard and deserves a lay in. AIBU?

Oh wow what a piece of shit, choosing to have another child and can’t even be bothered to parent the first child. I’m so sorry, I’d seek some legal advice / mediation on what arrangements can be made and also what level of child support payments he should be making.
Hate to say this but I’d t really start thinking of your life as a parent pretty much without the dad featuring in it, take control of your own life and seek support from others who are reliable. He will likely use his indifference on when he turns up as a real power move.
good luck, it really sucks, make sure you work on a heap of self love and self care so you’re in the best position possible to thrive as a single parent x
