Lol Madamez. This one I knew would marry at the drop of a hat. He told me that one he was with after me (god knows how many more hes had since he lives away from me and doesnt communicate now) wanted to get married and he didnt. wtf you think she would have more sense.

hls · 11/05/2008 21:45

I'd think he was an incurable romantic and an eternal optimist!

I don't think it matter how many times TBH- more WHY?

Everyone is allowed mistakes- it's what he is like now that matters and also if he has learned anything from the break ups.

CombustibleLemon · 11/05/2008 21:56

That he liked women in white? Run very fast indeed.

jesuswhatnext · 12/05/2008 09:46

oohh you lot are a bit harsh, i'm on my 3rd marriage and i'm a nice person

shit can happen to nice people you know!

slug · 12/05/2008 13:19

I'm of the opinion that to be divorced once is unfortunate, twice is bad luck and three times indicates a worrying lack of insight into what went wrong the first two times.

Joash · 12/05/2008 13:19

Run a bloody mile (or more).

DrNortherner · 12/05/2008 13:22

I'd run as fast as I could personally.

Cloudhopper · 12/05/2008 13:23

I would think 'Ross from friends'

harpsichordcarrier · 12/05/2008 13:25

i would give him the benefit of the doubt

LoveMyGirls · 12/05/2008 13:33

How can people afford to get married so many times when we can't even afford to do it once

I'd see what his story was, i'm thinking maybe he's got a really low sex drive and that's why he hasn't stayed married and also why he didn't try it on with you?

donnie · 12/05/2008 13:37

I would think - I don't intend being number 5.

GrapefruitMoon · 12/05/2008 13:38

Has he got 4 sets of children too?

katwith3kittens · 12/05/2008 13:39

I'd raise an eyebrow ...........

DANCESwithLordPottingtonSmythe · 12/05/2008 13:41

I'd run I think. Four ex-wives to contend with...possibly even four more families. How would he have time for you?!

mumblechum · 12/05/2008 13:48

I'd be thinking serious problems in getting along.

warthog · 12/05/2008 14:43

not much staying power - probably bolts at first sign of trouble.

SixSpotBurnet · 12/05/2008 14:46

I think that sticking around would be a triumph of hope over expectation.

Blandmum · 12/05/2008 14:49

That they were either awfully unlucky or they had very poor taste in partners....or both

Joash · 12/05/2008 15:32

or perhaps he is the one at 'fault'. Can't beleive that someone is that unlucky

PortBlacksandResident · 12/05/2008 15:38

Remember - the fifth one got beheaded
