How do I apply for a non mol the one where it come through within 24 hours (Emergency non mol) I think it's called.

I'm in a absolutely dire situation. Dv and all the rest. I've been quoted 4k for a non mol and Occupation Order through solicitors and was told it could take up to 4 months.

I understand I can apply for a non mol through gov.com myself for free, however this is not the Emergency one is it?

Can I get the Emergency non mol for free, how I do this? PLEASE HELP , I'm desperate. Also I dont qualify for legal aid I've checked. Any information or link to obtaining the Emergency non mol would be greatly appreciated. I desperately need one ASAP.
Thank you in advance

I did there recently. I represented myself, with some assistance from a local DV charity. You need a non-molestation order ex-parte (the respondent will not be notified of your intention of getting an order)
Please contact your local DV organisation who will assist.

@2025HereWeGo where do i get this non-molestation order ex-parte from?

I think I went through NCDV and they assessed that I was eligible for legal aid initially and then passed my detail to their solicitors who called me and did their own calculations and gave me that 4k quote. Saying I wasn't eligible for legal aid.

Do I go back to NCDV and say I'm not eligible for legal aid. It does say 'If you are not eligible for legal aid we will help you for free.'

Here.

You can contact FLOWS for advice.

I used the .gov links. I filled out the application form, supporting statement (making sure there’s a signed statement of truth) and submitted to my local family court via email. The court emailed me back and asked me to go in with a bailiff form and recent pic of the respondent so that if the judge approved the order, they could serve the papers.
i had more than enough evidence for the judge to approve. Good luck!

Is there a local DV charity in your area? They can help. I assume you have reported it the police - make sure they have put a flag in your address and keep Calling them. This will also support your non mol.

You can do it yourself.
FL401 application form and a statement setting out everything that's happened.
But please be aware that it's not likely to be in 24 hours depending on your court.

Just done one recently and it took them 2 weeks and it was very urgent and granted without notice. Courts are understaffed and overworked.
