Bi - where to find other women?

I’m bisexual but only ever been in relationships with men. I’m definitely way more into women recently I feel more drawn to them & look at other women more than men. My sister is a lesbian & easily goes on dates & always finds women. I guess you could say she’s stereotypically more “lesbian looking” than me people definitely assume I’m straight. I have 2 kids so I don’t scream bisexual. I don’t really want to go on dating apps, I don’t want anyone I know to see me on them. I don’t have childcare & probably wouldn’t be able to go on a date or anything but I just want to at least speak to another woman & flirt with another woman I just don’t know where to start apart from putting a rainbow or lgbtq flag in all my bios…

Bi F 40s here, although l regard myself as “sexual” rather than “bisexual”. No prefix generally required with a few exceptions, this post is an example.

If you live in a large town or city, look up lesbian friendly bars and venues. There are lots of bi women out there. I didn’t discover my bi side until my 30s.

Also when l first became sexually active (with boys back then) in my later teens, my elder sister was a great source of help and support. Could your sister suggest some places to go?

Finally, a little gentle warning. Some women who are lesbian or not keen on establishing deep friendships with bi women. Not everyone, by any means, but it might be helpful to be aware.
