Anyone else going through this?

Husband of 11 years doesn't love me anymore.

Kids and mortgage involved, hanging around until he can find somewhere to live.

How do you get through this? How far into this are you? What has helped you to get by during these hard times?

xx

This is awful- fuck him off and put him out! What a nerve to say he doesn't love you any longer but to impose himself living there! No way, tell him sling his hook and start thinking what's best for you. Look after kids and cry into wine once they're asleep? Works for a while. Then lean on your friends- you're going to need them, and they will show you a loyalty that this prick hasn't.

Might be more context, plenty of women on MN saying they don’t love their husband in the same boat.

That sounds really tough.

Please try to tell one or two friends as they can help support you. I used to listen to meditation tracks to help me fall asleep. Just take one day at a time & tell yourself you can do this.

I’m 8 years on. It’s tough at times but then life can be tough whatever. It’s not how I expected my life to turn out but over time I realised I was better off without him. He wasn’t the man I thought I was marrying.

I hope he can leave soon so you can stop living a life in limbo.
