What is husband really watching on tik tok?

Okay ,I'm really looking for some information or advice. My husband and I both have tik tok . I watch mostly skincare and fitness stuff .So this is what shows on my Search history and then below this it says " what you may like" . And the what "you may like" is creators who I watch 99% of the time.
My husbands search bar dosent have much on it but underneath in the "what you may like" videos it comes up with 90% of things like rude woman, hot wives and also noticed one saying activity history and clear data . So does this mean he is actually watching this stuff ? Now I want to say I have never looked at his phone as I have always trusted him but lately I noticed something is not quite right . Anyway hence why I looked at his phone rightfully or wrongfully. I have really issues with the way I look . I always feel I look awful and very down in myself. Now I will say my husband tells me I'm beautiful and how much he loves me all the time . But if he was looking at this stuff I am one of these women that would not be OK with it. It would knock my confidence even more . And I'd be very hurt especially when he knows how I feel. I'd love your thoughts on this or experience. X

What does he say he watches when you ask him?

doyouknowthemuffinman42 · 08/02/2025 23:43

Yes it's that or either he looks that type of topics up on his phone and it can link it with accounts.

So not necessarily just tik tok but he watches that kind of content elsewhere

@TheAzureSwan TheAzureSwan I haven't asked as I know he will never admit it. When he is sitting beside me it's mostly construction stuff he's watching. But funny thing is this dosent show up on his " what you may like".
@doyouknowthemuffinman42 doyouknowthemuffinman42 yes I think you are probably right.
@GouacheEnthusiast GouacheEnthusiast he uses tik tok when he's sitting relaxing at night ,not for long but does flick through. Obviously I'm not with him all the time so he probably watches then too.

I ended up asking him about it and he states he has no idea why it says that . He says he never looks at anything like that. Honestly I don't believe he'd admit it anyway.

My ex is a right bastard but his tik tok showed him clips about videos and animals

Lemsipper · 09/02/2025 15:58

You can find out. Go to settings > activity centre > watch history.

Mollylolly · 09/02/2025 17:45

@Lemsipper Hi, yes, I did this, and it's all mixed. Some videos are quite explicit, but he said it just comes up he doesn't watch it and flicks past . His actual search history has not much on it at all. But of course this can all be deleted. I have Googled and tik tok states it shows what they think you may like due to past activities. And someone said you would need to watch one of these videos at least half way for it to appear in "what you may like". I don't know why it bothers me so much but I just know I'd be quite hurt if he was.
