*lighthearted* When did you realise the honeymoon period was over? 🤣

Mine was today. Been together 18 months. Only see each other at weekends really as I have DCs.
Obviously used to be a time we couldn't enter the bedroom without ripped each other's clothes off.
Today, I was in the bedroom in my underwear, straightening my hair when OH came back from walking the dog.
He starts getting changed and we had a conversation about who was taking the dog to the vets tomorrow followed by 'I'll strip the bed if you remake it...' 🤣

We are still in honeymoon phase ( like you weekends when we don’t have kids and weekdays). But we do get those lulls into every day domesticity which I hate esp if they are detailed and dull like chores.
Try not to share too many chores and switch that conversation up to where you will go on a date or holiday ect - something exclusive to your relationship x

Forgot to say been together 5 years :(

What @Secondstart1001 says - 5 years, and yes, sometimes it gets into lulls, but it's on an uptick ATM.

Previous relationships - normally 18-24 months, the point when the "magic" starts to wear off. But that's as much on the romantic side as sexual - settles into a routine which can be deeper and more loving.

Definitely enjoying the extended honeymoon on this one though!!

I'm not complaining. Just found it quite funny tbh.
