Hey,

I dated my partner for 3 years. During this time I was forced to leave my friend group/not talk to/not see my friends because my partner didn't agree with some of them regarding certain things. At the start I thought my partner would get over it & I'd eventually be able to see my friends again.

This wasn't the case & I became so isolated & had no one to properly talk to about anything however didn't reply/talk to/ see my friends to keep a happy house.

After 2 years I needed to speak to my friends, I stated that I was going to see the & my partner ended it.

After only having my partner for so long & no one else I was a shell of a human & felt like a horrible person for abandoning my friends. This led me to trying to unalive myself & being diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I haven't recovered & not sure if I will.

If there is anyone on here that has had similar things done to them I am sorry & would really appreciate any feedback.

Thank you.

He is the root cause of you feeling this way. Reach out for help, have no contact with him and build yourself back up.

He has been abusing you.
