Concerned about boyfriend’s relationship with his boss

My boyfriend of 5 years who I also work at the same company with (but not the same team) has a really close relationship with his female boss. She seems to confide in him about a lot of things - often quite personal things such as break ups and even a recent abortion she had. I don’t have too much of an issue with this as it may be the case she doesn’t have many friends to confide in. But recently, she has been sharing details of her sex life with him (quite specific things, such as engaging in group sex and partner swapping with her boyfriend). What concerns me more is that my boyfriend seems to be encouraging her to disclose these things (like he can tell if she had a bad weekend from her mood and will keep asking until she tells him, as was the case with the partner swap which apparently she didn't enjoy as much as she had hoped to). So it’s not even as though she is telling him things he doesn’t want to hear.

I also find it odd that he then tells me (which is how I know about it). This makes me feel like maybe I shouldn’t have a problem with it as be is being open about it? I just think it’s crossing all kinds of lines (no judgement on her in terms of how she spends her free time at all) - I just don’t think it’s appropriate, especially for a manager to tell their male direct report who is themselves in a relationship. She also knows me and knows he and I are together. They text outside of work hours but as we don’t live together (long story - I have children from a previous relationship and one has additional needs) I don’t know how often and what about. He is also mentioning her more and more in passing. An example being the other day he said she seemed annoyed at him before she went on annual leave and as he was leaving my house and we were saying goodbye after hugging he said ‘I wonder why X seemed angry with me?’ This makes me feel she is on his mind a lot and everything together just makes me feels very uneasy. I’m sure if I was telling him the same things about my male boss he wouldn’t be too happy about it.

Am I being unreasonable for feeling this way?

It sounds to me that your b/ f will be suggesting a threesome with this woman at some point.
