Couple's retreat or couple in trouble?

What are your opinions on retreats for couples? I've always thought they sound like something a couple would go on to try and patch things up away from the stresses of work and family etc. Perhaps I'm wrong and it's just another way of saying romantic mini-break. I admittedly don't know anything about them but was surprised by the turn of phrase instead of just weekend away.
If you were told a couple were going on a couple's retreat what would you think?

Or maybe it's about growing as a couple and not trying to fix any problems.

It's a weekend away for couples to relax and have some childfree time

Why, what's up?
