Divorce and financial agreements

Hi.
my husband and I are getting divorced. It’s very amicable.
im curious about financial agreements please.
we don’t have anything to split so what would be involved in an agreement? Do we really have to show 12 months of bank statements when it’s literally just a case of “we won’t steal each others pensions”

Yep. It's about covering yourself. Both of you can reach an agreement but the judge needs to be sure that it's fair. An absence of accounts could imply one person has intimidated the other into the agreement.

Will my ex see my statements?

Yes, you have to have ‘full and frank disclosure’ of everything financial.
