Does anyone else feel married but alone?

I’ll start by saying I love my husband. But!! He is a police officer and his shifts are shit! I’m alone tonight. I was alone last night. I’ll be alone tomorrow night and the night after. So it’s Friday night and I just have myself for company.

I’m so sad for you … are you working when he’s not on shift? It’s terrible when you’re shops that pass in the night. On the other hand, at least he’s not there to steal the duvet and argue about what to watch on Tv…

When my husband works away or doing his own thing, my Tv is my company,companion. Sometimes I feel I'm still single! Keep yourself busy or chat with close friends or stay over.

You could go out with friends when he is at work ?

Yes I get this my DH worked 6 day weeks then I got a job working opposite shifts.
Then his next job was leaving home 6 am home 6 ISH.
I left home 930 got in 10.30 worked every w end.
Kids left home and now we see each other.

He married a chef and expected cooked meals.
Oh how we laughed.!!
