Husband- sore testicle and groin rash

A few weeks ago my DH (of 18 years) had a really sore/bruised testicle. He put it down to his manual work and didn't get checked. It eased off within a week.

He woke up this morning with a rash covering his groin, both sides. It's look red/purple. I didn't have a good look. He has contacted the gp today and is waiting to hear back.

I thought possibly fungal infection.

Then my brain diverted down the sti route but not sure if it would look like this.

Any experience?

If his personal hygiene isn't great then it's probably that. It's not necessarily an std.

Thrush in men looks a lot like what you've described.

He showers at least once daily so not sure it would be his personal hygiene.

So your husband is clearly not well but your on Mumsnet asking whether people think he has an STI. Unless there is a backstory I'd refresh yourself on the sickness/health vows bit.
