Is finding true love difficult?

Love isn’t common and it hurts to say. I want someone who can show me warmth, someone who can tell me that I’m the one for them. Is love truly difficult to find or am I not looking in the right places? Tell me what you guys think or if you have found your true live

What is true love? While my DH ticks all the boxes in terms of love, I can't imagine anyone loving me more, I don't believe there is only one person who could give me that. And I believe there might be someone else for him who could have been a better wife. But I believe we chose each other out of the billions people on this planet, and commit to make it work in times of happiness and hardships. And it takes compromises.

That’s beautiful! It’s nice to hear there are such amazing people out there!

I have found it twice. Both times felt easy like friends and like home.

Someone once drew this for me. Ok he was a statistics person but it's kind of true when you think about it ...don't wait for a first move, be the first move.

Yea thats true. It just becomes difficult over time because of how much society and life has changed. As a Mexican and the whole deal in America where “Mexicans don’t belong here” makes it quite difficult to find people that aren’t motivated by racism

Love is your image of a person, it can be easy to fall in love if you look for the good in people. Comparability is also a factor, so how well you get on with others/how others respond to you. Sex drive , looks, life values all play a role.

Yes, I totally agree. I guess I just want someone who can let me know they're there for me

I wonder sometimes if it's harder for men to find "true love" because their expectations/ beauty standards are too high?

Us women, we'll sort of go along with our latest crush because they're funny, kind, generous or those sorts of things but men seem to want superficial beauty and a nice arse. Then they wonder why the fat dude who makes us laugh is getting all the dates.

I've been properly in love three times since I was 19.
The first guy was too cool/cold but we lived together for seven years untill I got bored.
The second guy was too hot/crazy we lived together for almost three years but he was a total narcissist better off on his own.

The third guy is my husband. He's not too cool, not too hot. I'm literally Goldilocks.🤣

He's actually on the autistic spectrum and so fascinating we can talk all night, but he's kind and loving too despite the reputation autistic people have... I Wouldn't change him for the world. But it's not always easy. Quite the opposite of easy at times. That's love!

It doesn't exist.

As a man I won’t deny physical beauty is amazing, but as a man who grew up with a mother that has been cheated on. I realized that as a man, we shouldn’t focus on the outside but instead on the inside. I look for a woman that can be there for me in my worst times and motivate me to keep going. My father cheated on my mother many times but until the end realized that a woman with a nice arse doesn’t mean they’re perfect.

Just wanted to make sure you were okay sharing sensitive information. I apologize. Then may I ask why you say it’s impossible and doesn’t exist?
