My sister is struggling. She has two young children, significant financial problems, and a history of alcohol abuse. She relies heavily on her parents for support, pushes loved ones away, and refuses help unless it’s financial and on her terms. Her living conditions are concerning, with a messy and unclean home. We are deeply worried about her well-being and the safety of her children.
Where can we turn for guidance on how to best support her, even if she resists help?

Early help team via the Local Authority in which she lives.

Can you not have the children stay with you or help clean their house for them?

She recently moved into a brand new rental funded by parents, it was clean but she won’t let us in to help her clean etc
