Asking for a "friend" 😇

What's the question exactly? How did you meet?

I got together with my partner at 39 and we met at work. We'd known each other a few years before anything happened.

I am not sure how this helps you but I answered

I met my partner last year at 33 and we met though our work. Luckily happened to bump into each other.

I met my DH at 39 through an introduction agency. Online dating was in its infancy and this agency 'interviewed' every member, plus cost a fair bit which I though would weed out men just looking for a hook up. I spent a year meeting, on the whole, very interesting men. I dated two of them for a few weeks, another became a good friend. Then I met my DH and we were married a year later (with two children to follow).
