So briefly i know this guy who have been giving me mixed signals like one day he's flirting with me the next day he starts flirting with another classmate and that makes me confused about how should i classify our relationship is it just me or am i imagining things , but what actually makes me more confused is when a guy stars talking to me or gets flirty with me he just runs to join the conversation and become possessive over me , so if i can get some help to understand this situation i would be more than grateful

if he suddenly runs over to start talking to you when another guy is on the scene ... he likes u
but i would play it cool as he is trying to flirt with others to maybe see how you react??
just gently let him know you like him and leave the ball in his court

I think he wants you to ask him out.

Honestly OP, tale charge and override any shyness and just ask him out. He may be inexperienced or nervous of rejection even if he seems confident. Of course if you then see odd behaviour it's another story...just do it :)
