Blocked or ignored?

So me and my ex recently parted ways. On WhatsApp my messages are shown as delivered (with 2 grey check marks) but he has blocked my contact number. Does this mean that he is getting the messages but not replying? He has blocked my phone number as I’ve tried calling a few days ago and rang once then went to voicemail, I tired phoning last week prior to this and the call kept ringing out so I guess I’m a bit confused. Or as he’s blocked my number, am I blocked on WhatsApp even though I’m getting the 2 grey ticks shown on my messages, can someone clarify please?

Why are you pursuing his attentions? Is it for something practical like getting your stuff or something? If it’s not anything like that, delete his number and move on. He’s your ex. He doesn’t have to communicate with you any more. Unless you have children. In which case, send a lawyers letter stating if he wants contact he has to message you on a parenting app. That’s it.

What difference does it make whether you have been blocked or are merely being ignored? The man clearly doesn't want any contact with you. Please find your dignity and get on with your life.

Does it really matter? Unless you have children / assets to talk about what's the point.

If you’re getting two ticks then you’re definitely not blocked. If you’re blocked then you’ll only ever get one tick.

You aren’t blocked. But it does sound like he isn’t interested in talking to you, so just leave it be.

If it's ringing then you're not blocked. WhatsApp ticks I'm not sure but don't think blocked. Maybe archived. Is it important such as regarding children or property? If not I think let him go.

It doesn’t matter what the answer is either way.

he’s made it clear he no longer wants to communicate with you so respect that.

if it was a man hassling a woman without her consent it would been seen as stalkerish and predatory behaviour.

Thanks yes I know I’m blocked on my phone but as I can still see two check marks in WhatsApp I was confused, onwards and upwards as they say!
