Hi all!

I'm just laid on the sofa and a crazy thought passed my mind, where is the craziest/weirdest places you first met your current partner?

Ms and my current OH met on facebook! Not really strange 😂

On a secure unit for offenders. Neither of us were inmates but still, not romantic in the classic sense.

On a zoom quiz in lockdown 😂

I met my OH in the pub, which would be quite normal, except that I was with my boyfriend at the time. It was very frustrating as my BF had gone off me in a big way, and falling in love at first sight with one of his work colleagues was tricky, under the circumstances.

Fortunately the BF dumped me and OH and I have been married for 17 years.

I met the DW in an hotel in The Isle of Man. My boss said you’ve got 2 weeks holiday, use it or lose it by the end of August. I went over to watch the motorcycle racing. She came and sat next to me at the bar as she says she thought I looked interesting. My parents honeymooned in the hotel next door in 1959 and I found out 10 years ago from a letter my Gran wrote that she’d stayed in the hotel we were staying in and met in, back in 1973. The letter to my Mum was written hotel headed paper. Sometimes it’s all just meant to be.

On a bus!
DW knew what she was getting as I threw myself on, scattering the Saturday Guardian everywhere, carrying many bags and generally causing chaos!

I was going to deliver a training session, she was a student and we have been together for 26 years!

She's my favourite person and has loved my children and grandchildren as her own; we are all very lucky to have her in our lives.

One ex I met while pitching a tent halfway up a mountain.
