Narcissistic mother and Christmas

I’ve been no contact with my mother since early April. We’ve had minimal contact (nasty messages from her) but this was around July. Anyway with Christmas coming up I’m a little apprehensive about her getting in contact or sending the usual nasty messages. Does anybody else feel like this around this time of year?

save your self keep her at arms length ,write a generic christmas card and leave it at that

i only had to deal with a addict of a father so not as bad but keeping them at arms length better for your health

I wouldn't even send a card.

OP if she tries to contact you ignore. Block her so that messages can't get to you.

Put her out of your mind and enjoy Christmas.

Not any more, I only have contact with one of them and that is strictly just a card. All numbers are blocked.
