One adult DC will move out next year, the teen is making their own way in life now, and there’s nothing for me and DH. Resentment is high and has been for a couple of years, and it’s time for me. I just need to get through this.

Well, you haven’t written much, so not a lot for us to go on here & that would imply your mind is made up, that you are not conflicted in your emotions. If that is the case I’d say crack on

Elftime · 02/12/2024 07:03

Yes, I am. Have a lot going on in the next 6 weeks that I don't want to be ruined for DC. After that, I am done.

rainbowduck · 02/12/2024 17:06

Yup.

You're not suicidal are you?

CreationNat1on · 02/12/2024 17:08

Relationship, presumably.

I think the OP clearly means their relationship, but imagine they were suicidal and this was your response.

Isn't something like 5th January the peak date for divorce applications? It won't just be you OP.
