Message here instead of messaging them - is there something like this here?

Just wondering.

I used to think that I would make a killing with an app where you texted an AI or a person saying what you wanted to say, rather than texting that person, for whatever reason. So I was wondering, is something like that here? A thread for 'this is what I want to say but I'm not texting X ' ?

I think you can pretty much get a Chat GPT boyfriend! Well, I've only read about men using it as a virtual girlfriend. But what a good idea of yours - if you could tell it "Right, your name is Dave, you're a 39 year old British man who dumped me last week out of the blue and now massively regrets it - go!", and you could offload onto your virtual Dave while he grovels back! Then, when Dave's out of your system, turn it into "Brad, a gorgeous Californian dude who's madly in love with me" and have fun with it 😂

Something like that, yeah :D I think it would save a bit of heartache tbh, as we get told speak to friends and family etc, but at the end of the day, sometimes there's things we want to say to them, only shouldn't contact them. Self restraint is great, but for those times when it goes out of the window...

ChatGPT is actually your friend here.

Also, to outline what you might want to do and how they might react. Surprisingly powerful to see with your own eyes what is likely going to happen, depending on what you decide to do.

There’s usually always relevant posts pop up that you can offload onto. Failing that I used to write texts into my notes and then forget about it until later and laugh at what I’d wrote while being thankful I never sent them 😆
