Man with kids

So I've been off and on with this guy for three years but he has two kids one is 13 and the other is a 3 year old. It always seems like I'm begging for him to make time for me he works on the water and that I understand that but everytime I travel to see him it seems he always goes to get his kids. I usually get left in the guest room all day by myself and he goes in the other room with his kids and dosent come back till like 12pm at night. Then I bring up that he left me and he states that he's with his kids. I also had a time where I had to keep begging him to just give me a phone call we stay states away and I couldn't get a phone call. Am I overreacting I don't want to seem inconsiderate or selfish ?

Why do you bother, he doesn’t think much of you clearly

Off and on for three years, he can’t be bothered to visit or call and he hides you away in a separate room you aren’t allowed to leave when he has his kids.

The kids aren’t the problem. He’s just not that into you. It feels to me like a FWB situation and he’s being very unkind. You deserve better than this fuckwit.

He’s just not that into you. Also, he’s not wrong for prioritising his time with his kids over you.

So his youngest is 3?

And he's been seeing you for 3 yrs?

So was he in a relationship with the youngest mum when you met him? Or she'd have literally just had the baby when you met him.

Sounds like he's prioritising his kids, and that's important... He obviously doesn't feel you need the same courtesy.

You're best off looking for someone without kids, as any decent father would always prioritise their kids.

If you've been in an off and on relationship you're obviously not happy with him Op, he doesn't make time or effort for you so why are you bothering? His DC are young, you're going to come second for a long time. Dump him and get on with your life
