How can I tell if it’s me or the relationship?

I can’t see the wood for the trees, and I’m wondering if I am the problem or if it’s the relationship. And if it’s me (and I suspect it is me actually) perhaps I should let DP go and be free from me anyway?

We can't tell from your post, can you describe what is making you question your relationship?

Axalotl · 29/11/2024 21:04

It's usually never one or the other in my experience. Perhaps a mix?

Actually, it’s really weird, but just putting this in to words and reaching out to someone has helped so much.

I think there is a process between DP and me that can be very unhelpful as PP suggest. However I think there’s some good evidence that I have a borderline personality adaptation that approaches disordered at times.

Don’t just assume it is you due to borderline difficulties - listen to your gut
