Lacking friends

Happily married with 3 kids but feel that I don’t really have friends. I found having being my own children’s teacher stopped me developing friendships with my children’s friend’s mums. I have 1 or 2 girls I might text throughout the year and we might meet up maybe once in the year but they live over 2 hours away. I go to the gym & fitness classes but have found this isn’t really the place to make friends.

Do you have any other hobbies or interests other than fitness classes? What about your husbands friends partners?

To be honest I don’t have time for any other hobbies. I work full time & it’s hard to get my gym classes fitted in ( though I do really enjoy them) yes, friendly enough with my hubby’s friends wives particularly one but they have their own set of good friends from school days. I feel I missed out of making mum friends because of my job!
