Video date rescheduling

Guy I’m chatting with on an app suggested a virtual or a physical date - we settled on a day last weekend and were speaking on the app throughout. I messaged on the day saying I’m free between 2-4pm, let me know when you are - got no response and then a very apologetic text the next day saying could we reschedule as he’d left his phone at a friend’s house.

Fine and no problem! We then settled on today and again chatting throughout the week. Again I message today and just say well let me know if today or early this week works. He suggests an evening this week as he has gone away to visit a friend. Shall I just assume it’s not going to happen or take it at face value?

He’s keeping you as an option whilst he goes about enjoying his life. Throw him back.

Please don't ghost him. Just be upfront and say how you feel.

I’ve sent a couple of very short polite statements back in response to his questions and now will just leave it! I’m sure he’ll get the hint!!
