Does a Narcissistic person know how they behave?

In my own life for example we visit and I’m ignored, not looked at, constant little comments and back stabs, derailing when I talk and moving the conversation onto them or the favoured people. The consequence is that I don’t visit very often and will make excuses when asked. It doesn’t happen to everyone only select people so it’s happening intentionally.

Now I’m a problem because I don’t want to go and turn down invites. Can they not see that how they behave impacts what people do in return? Are these behaviours of ignoring and snide comments just automatic?
