My partners ex wife won’t let me see the kids

My partners ex wife doesn’t like me and has refused him to see the kids if we are together. She has with held contact until he leaves me and is threatening all sorts of court orders to stop us both seeing them.

neither or us are violent, drug users or any harm to the children. It’s just a matter of her not approving our relationship.

he is currently starting the custody journey so she is unable to take them from him again but is there anything she can legally do to stop me seeing them?

No, technically she has no say what he does with them when he has them.

But I'd ask yourself whether you're up for a future full of this sort of drama. Because it won't end any time soon.

No,as long as he has contact then he is deemed responsible enough to have safe people around the kids.

The court won't take kindly to anyone withholding contact due to jealousy.

If you haven't been together long then there's maybe a compromise to be made between the parents until the court stuff goes through.

Are you a stable and well functioning adult? Have you guys been seeing each other for about half a year or so and are in a serious relationship? If yes, then just take her to court and pursue contact. It’s about what’s best for the children.
