Good parents

So often there are threads about toxic parents I thought it might be nice to do a bit of an appreciative one, it's always nice to read the good husbands threads too. I had an incident last night to remind me of just how supportive my parents are.

Some twerp donkey kicked my door twice at midnight last night. I live alone (with DD) didn't quite know what to do but was a bit shaken. Rang dad, less than 5 mins later (parents live 11 doors away) he's dressed and double checking my outside for me. He's just popped up now with a security light for me he went and bought this morning.

Hes struggled with life long MH issues and can be forgetful and infuriating sometimes. But when I need him he's always there.
