CMS - liability order

Not sure where to post this but looking for people's experiences once they have got to the point where a court liability order has been granted?
Obviously years worth of fighting to get to this point and now a huge sum of money is owed in arrears.
I had the letter through saying the liability order has been accepted but what happens now? Is it a physical court date? Do I need to attend or can I attend if I wish? Anybody had a positive outcome from this as everything else has failed including attachments of earnings numerous times as he just leaves his job.
I do know that there are no assets in his name he puts them all in his partners and they live in rented.
Any advice / experiences welcome!
