you did the majority of the household chores, were told that actually you do far less than you say you do, and you went on stricke to show just how much you do and when surveying the resulting mess after several weeks your husband tokd you that it was a silly idea because all it proved was that he does way more than you?

If he honestly can’t see the mess he won’t improve, if he can, but is just a lazy swine, he doesn’t care enough about you to change.

What would I say? I’ve had enough disrespect, it’s over. What would I do? See a lawyer.

I would ask how he's managed to hide how thick he is, now that you are doing nothing and the house being a tip he think shows how he does more than you.

I'd clean up the mess and toss him out with it
