How long until you moved in together?

If you're over 30 how long until you moved in with your partner?

It gradually happened after a few months and here we are 20 years later. Still very much in love. Especially when our 6 yo stays with the grandparents.

We had known each other for about two months when we moved in together. It would have been sooner but we had difficulty finding a flat to rent. I was 18 and my husband was 21. He's 70 now and I'm nearly 67.

About 4 months!!
But that was over 30 years ago so it was ok.

About six months. Bought a house, got married and had a baby the following year.

4/5 months! But this was more due to Covid, probably wouldn't have happened that soon otherwise. Still together 4 years later 😊

Just over a year I moved country to live with him. We'd been on holidays and he spent over 2 months worth staying with me before.

15 months in but it was rather hurried along because he lived a good distance from me so we could only see each other on weekends. That was over 6 months ago now and whilst we’ve had lots of external pressures and challenges to deal with I really like having him here!

4 months, now married for 14 years, 2 kids and couldn’t be happier.

2 years in. We both have a child each from previous relationships and wanted to take it steady. We've lived together for a year and a half now and all going beautifully!

We would have moved in together within a few months but circumstances make it difficult for a couple more years (elderly parents, inflexible jobs, dependent children)

We were both 32 and had been together 18 months.

We broke up a year later.

1.5 years.

6 months. Engaged after 9 months & married 5 months after that.

I was ready to TTC and move together after 6 months but due to circumstances we could move together only in 1.5 years. I was in my late 30s and I recognised it was different with my now DH from the beginning hence I was comfortable acting fast.

Met August 2018 moved in at lockdown to mine as he could WFH and I had to go to work. Married 2022.

About 4 months. With hindsight, I think it was probably too soon but we're still together 15 years and one child later, so it worked out in the end.

5 days. We met on Boxing Day, he moved in on New Years Eve. We'd 'met' online on 13th Dec. We married 16 weeks later in April. Life is GOOD. (I'm 48, he's 54 - when you know, you know. Life is short, why hang around?!)

Six weeks but never did that with anyone else and had lots of boyfriends

After he'd been seeing me for about 3-4 months he started staying over at my house every other weekend when D's was with his Dad and this continued for about 10 months plus the other weekend when D's was at home we would all go out for the Saturday but DH didn't sleep over with ds there. Then he proposed and D's and I moved into his house to live with him. Ds completed primary school and then we moved and he went to a much better secondary school closed to DH house. We lived together for about a year before we got married. I sold my house. DH sold his house and we bought a house together. Been married 19 years now.

A year and we got married 4 years later.

After 5 years (lots of travelling).
Got married after 12 years (both being lazy).
Together 26 years now. Plus kids and dogs!
