Living together whilst seperated

My husband is initially going to move out as I am buying him out like we have agreed, but he won’t move out until I buy him out (fair enough) but my solicitor has advised me not to buy him out until we get our first order through which takes 20 weeks. I really do not want to live with my husband for that long, the atmosphere is awful. Has anyone else lived with spouse until it’s all gone through?

No, we’re getting a divorce and I am buying him out of the house.

Do you mean the decree nisi? In every separation I’ve known the man has moved out & rented or stayed with family until the divorce went through. Living together while separated would be awful.

I actually ran into quite a few people who did continue living together for various reasons. I did it for only 4 months, and it nearly killed me and we did not fight or anything. I got high blood pressure, heart palpitations and insomnia. 😩 I would not advise, but again, like I said, many people do it.
